Meet the Hosts

  • Ellen Sherman

    Ellen Sherman

    CO-HOST

A native New Yorker, Ellen Sherman took a circuitous path to writing and producing TV and film after an acting career which included Broadway, TV, and the lead in a highly forgettable avant-garde Mexican horror film. She’s worked as a journalist, screenwriter, and documentarian who produced an award-winning feature doc revealing the world of heterosexual crossdressers. She spent nine memorable years at NBC’s “Dateline” producing one-hours primarily about rich, attractive people who kill each other. She’s lived in Mexico City, Los Angeles, and London. Her gloriously misspent youth is the basis for the novel “CHELSEA MANOR STREET: Bad Girls Go Everywhere.”
